Supporting Tuam music

Howye, this is our new website, iTuam.

Tuam is a bustling town thriving with musical talent in the West of Ireland, Co. Galway. In support of the local musicians here and gone, here is a forum where anyone can upload and share their music from the area.

Please feel free to contribute and enjoy!

A few words from Padraig...

" Inspired by Carolann of Creative Places, I asked Ciara Finan of Stable Productions to design an online depository for all things musical around Tuam. We have uploaded some heritage music to our SoundCloud page. For example, you'll find here the albums 'Songs from the Broken Wheel', 'Thank You for the Music Mr. Kelly', 'Ya Can't Bate the Kids' and some early Saw Doctor Live at the Barrowlands tracks.

We could do with a few ideas on how to proceed. Images, bio of your act, audio of Tuam, interest from anywhere and anytime, etc. I am thinking of doing a gossip column myself, like Dickie Byrne did when the Galway Advertiser started 50 years ago. "
